An oasis of peace and tranquillity, Bodhi Khaya is a beautiful countryside and meditation retreat, set in over two hundred hectares of Overberg countryside. The area is well known for its indigenous fynbos and is home to large variety of birds, including the Western Cape’s exclusive Cape Sugarbird and Orange Breasted Sunbird.
Located on a historic farm dating back to 1831, the retreat retains its unique farmhouse character and the surrounding mountains, pastoral countryside and ancient milkwood forest, make it a perfect place for walking, relaxing and contemplating life.

Bodhi Khaya offers comfortable accommodation, delicious vegetarian cooking with ingredients sourced from the centre’s organic garden, a well stocked library and a peaceful meditation hall. It provides sanctuary for those who wish to take some time out to unwind and relax in nature.
Guests can take part in the following activities:

• Meditation
• Walking the labyrinth
• Horse riding*
• Holistic body treatments*
Nearby attractions include sunset river cruises, whale watching, long pristine beaches, an ancient cave, wine tasting and several great restaurants.
